The Komi Republican Philharmonic was organized on September 1, 1940. Then it was a concert and variety bureau, which included the ensemble of song, music and dance, which has become quite famous in a year and a half of its existence (today it is the State Ensemble of Song and Dance `` Asya Kya '' named after Viktor Morozov), brass and symphony orchestras , circus and concert brigades. The main task of the creative staff of the concert and variety bureau, which then numbered 118 people, was to promote the best examples of world and domestic art culture, as well as works by Komi authors and folk Komi creativity.

In September 1940, the brigades made their first tour of the republic. On October 5-6, 1940, the first concert season was inaugurated. The concert bureau did not have its own premises, so it huddled within the walls of the drama theater for a long time. For sixty years of its existence, the Philharmonic has earned itself fame and a rich creative history.

The building, which now houses the Philharmonic, was built in 1975. In 2000-2002, its reconstruction was carried out.

Today, the Philharmonic includes the Asya Kya State Song and Dance Ensemble, Vdohnovenie instrumental music ensemble, Zarni El folk music ensemble, such soloists as Honored Artist of Russia - Alexei Moiseenko, People's Artist of the Republic - Fedor Svyatovets, Victoria Pystina, who is a laureate of the V. Eseva, Tatyana Aksenova, Olga Kravtsova, Vera Bulysheva, as well as instrumental soloist Rebekah Magomedova and accompanist V. Dobryakova. At present, the Komi Republican Philharmonic has modern sound and lighting equipment.

Art group " Inspiration " was created in 1997 by the talented musician V. Gorlenko (People's Artist of the Republic of Kazakhstan). The ensemble includes: the artistic director of the ensemble and the inspirer of all its ideas, the presenter of music salons, Svetlana Khozyainova - viola, cello - Nadezhda Potolitsyna, first violin - Siranush Ajiyan, second violin - Olga Kit. The repertoire of the quartet is presented by music of domestic and foreign classics, as well as contemporary composers, jazz compositions, works of Komi composers, educational programs intended for a children's audience: "Children's Album" by P. Tchaikovsky, “The Seasons”, “Acquaintance with stringed instruments”, “Music around us”.

The ensemble “Zarni Yel” is a laureate of many international festivals and a diploma winner of the international competition “Folk Music Ensemble”. This creative team was created in 1995 on the basis of the Republican Philharmonic. The artistic director of the ensemble is Sergey Gusev (button accordion); the ensemble includes V. Shebolkin (balalaika), S. Feshchenko (drums); O. Karmanov (bass guitar), L. Tuchnolobova (domra alto), S. Gromkov (small domra). "Zarni Yel" successfully toured in many cities of its republic and abroad (Germany, Finland, Hungary), in different cities of Russia, participated in music festivals of the republic. The repertoire of the ensemble is represented by Komi folk songs, works by Russians, Komi and foreign composers, instrumental arrangements of folk melodies and famous songs. The soloist of the ensemble is Victoria Pystina, a graduate of the Academy of Culture of St. Petersburg.

The Song and Dance Ensemble of the Komi Republic "Asya Kya" was established in 1939. This is the pride and national treasure of the Republic of Kazakhstan. The only professional ensemble in this genre has absorbed the best facets of the instrumental, song and dance culture of the people of the Komi Republic. The ensemble's achievements are connected with the fact that the ensemble's creativity is based on a modern reading of Komi folklore. Unusual choral plastics, synthesis of genres, extraordinary stage solutions - this is what distinguishes the work of `` Asya Kya ''. In 2005 the collective was named after the honored art worker - V.P. Morozov, who made a significant contribution to the development of art in the Komi Republic. For the entire period of work, outstanding directors, musicians, choreographers, choirmasters, and costume designers of the Republic of Kazakhstan have collaborated with the collective. In the programs " Asya Kya " For the first time, the Komi national household instruments were brought to the stage. Now they are widely spread in various creative teams.
