Photo and description

St. Andrew's Church is a three-nave basilica with a transept, the entrance to which corresponds to the north nave. The walls are made of stone blocks, and the corners are reinforced with larger sandstone bars. The western facade of the temple is crowned with two slender octagons, set on fours and crowned in 1639 with baroque helmets. This best-preserved Romanesque church in the city was built at the end of the 11th century at the behest of Prince Vladislav German. The powerful exterior of the Romanesque church contrasts with the rich baroque interior.
