There is a huge mound near the museum; it can be seen from the dam. According to some historians, this mound is a kind of Scythian burial, on the top of which a stone woman used to stand. In ancient times, in the Tauride steppes, there were many such mounds, as well as women made of stone. Most of these stone statues are collected in the reserve called "Stone Graves".
