Photo and Description

Foy Lake is an artificial reservoir in Chittagong. It was formed in 1924 after the construction of the dam and was named after one of the partners who built the railway. The main purpose of creating a water reservoir was to provide residents of the district with fresh water. The lake is located next to Batali Hill, the highest hill in Chittagong province, and is famous for its incredible beauty, thanks to a successful synthesis of the surrounding hills and calm waters.

Currently, here, in the heart of Chittagong, on Lake Foy, there is the Foy World theme park. The entertainment centers of Lake Foy are located in a picturesque area surrounded by hills, lakes and green forests in Pahartoli, and occupy about 129.50 hectares of land.
