Murat Pasha Mosque in Turkey, Erzurum Resort
Rating: 7,5/10 (100 votes)  This mosque, built between 1465 and 1471, consists of two square halls, covered with domes and connected by corridors. In front of the first hall there is a wide marble portal, which is topped by five small domes supported by six columns of clearly Byzantine origin. Because of this, the building of the mosque looks a lot like an inverted 'T'. Donor of the mosque construction – a renegade Greek who apparently wanted to demonstrate loyalty to Allah in this way.
