Nakhon Pathom in Thailand

Archaeological excavations took place here from 1939 to 1940. The Nakon Pathom complex includes the vast ancient ruins of a city dating back to the heyday of the state of Dvaravati. Also here you can see objects even more ancient, approximately IV-V centuries. Among the ruins of the ancient temples Wat Phra Patom and Wat Phra Men are numerous bronze statues of Buddha, decorative stone wheels, stone carvings, original ornaments on stone slabs.
