Hisar Mosque in Turkey, Izmir resort
Rating: 8,2/10 (400 votes)  This mosque is one of the main attractions of Izmir. It was built in 1598 and is still considered one of the most beautiful in the city. Its single minaret and domes look especially picturesque. Particular attention should be paid to the openwork ligature that goes over the central doors of the mosque – these inscriptions are excerpts from the Quran. The interior interiors of the mosque are also quite interesting – the pulpit and altar are especially beautiful.
