The collection of this museum contains exhibits that date back to the pre-Seljuk time. The museum first opened in 1901 at Karma High School. Then he was moved to the Melvana Museum, and then to the Iplikchi Mosque. Only in 1962 did the museum finally find itself in the building in which it is located to this day.
In the first room, exhibits related to to such eras as the Neolithic (arrowheads, clay vessels), the Ancient Bronze Age and the Middle Bronze Age (clay vessels, dishes in the form of animals, candlesticks).
The second hall contains exhibits from the Iron Age and the Era of Classicism.
The third room illustrates the life of the Roman period and the Byzantine era.
