This museum is one of the most visited   in all of Turkey. It is housed in a Tekke building that dates back to the 16th century. In this museum-mosque, the poet and philosopher Jalaladdin Rumi, who was later called Mevlana – `` our master. ''

This man is famous for his philosophy, which says that regardless of faith and color, all people are brothers. His second famous act – this is the opening of the school of `` whirling dervishes '', which continues to exist to this day. Men in white robes circle around themselves, falling into a special trance, and in this state say prayers.

The museum houses the sarcophagi of Rumi himself and his father – Bahaeddin. In addition, in the museum you can learn more about the life of this famous philosopher.

The mausoleum was built in 1274. Inside there are old books, clothes, musical instruments, as well as a rosary with 99 names of Allah inscribed on it.
