Geography and   Climate


Tunisia   - the capital of the country of the same name. The city is located on the   coast of the Gulf of Tunis in the Mediterranean Sea. Nearby is the Tunisian lake and   Belvedere hill. The length of the coastline is 1200   km.

Tunisia is dominated by a subtropical Mediterranean climate: hot summers and   humid, relatively cool, winters. Summer temperatures are kept at   around + 35   ° C.   The heat is easily tolerated due to the dry climate.

You can swim from   June to   November. The tourist season lasts from   April to   November.

Tunisia's time zone: GMT   +1 (3 hours behind Moscow).
