Rating: 7,9/10 (175 votes)  The Sabanci-Marquez Mosque is one of the largest and most beautiful mosques in the Middle East. Today the mosque is one of the symbols of Adana. The mosque was built with funds from the Sabanci Foundation and a religious Turkish organization in 1998. The six minarets of the mosque, reaching a height of 99 meters, are now visible from almost every point in the city. On the west side of the building is a large public library.
