The Schladming resort unites 4 ski areas: Planai, Hauser-Kaibling, Hochwurzen and Reiteralm. All ski areas are connected by a network of lifts; a bus runs between the lower stations located in the valley. The resort also includes the Ramsau am Dachstein region.

The ski season in Schladming opens in December and closes in April. The total length of the tracks is over 53 kilometers. Cross-country skiing trails are 28 kilometers long. The longest Valley Descant trail is 4600 meters. The total number of Schldaming lifts is 47.

Reiteralm – the area at an altitude of 1860 meters is especially popular among the guests of the resort because of the comfortable, yet difficult and interesting slopes.

Ramsau am Dachstein, located at an altitude of 1200 meters, has both special toboggan runs and excellent conditions for those who have just started alpine skiing.

Schladming offers excellent opportunities for those who is snowboarding. A 100-meter half-pipe, a boardercross track, and a fan park are open on the territory of Planay. Ramsau am Dachstein offers snowboarders a 150-meter fun park with a half-pipe, also has a half-pipe in the Reiteralm region, and Hauser-Kaibling has a snowboard park, a freeride track, a springboard and a bordercross track.

A great place for a family vacation, Schladming has a kindergarten (for children aged 3 and over), a ski club for children 3-4 years old, and ski schools for older children.

The Schladming Resort can offer fans of active entertainment an outdoor ice skating rink, tobogganing and hiking, mountain climbing, bowling, hang-gliding, hunting, squash, tennis court, swimming pools.

While on vacation in Schladming, you can explore various historical sights, in particular, take an excursion to the previously operating Bromriesenstollen silver mine, visit the Schladming Church 'Annenkapelle', the preserved city gate with a centuries-old history, the Schladming Town Hall, and the Museum, located in a building whose construction dates back to 1661.
