Cesky Krumlov is a small town in the southwestern part of the Czech Republic, known primarily for its historical center - the second city castle in the Czech Republic after Prague Castle. In the future, Cesky Krumlov may become one of the leading Czech tourist cities, during the inspection of which the guests of the country will have a picture of the provincial cities of the Czech Republic. According to the latest data, 12 thousand people lived in the city, due to the low birth rate, this figure may be less.

Getting to Cesky Krumlov, at first glance, is problematic, but in practice everything is not too difficult. The fact is that such a small city cannot afford to have its own air terminal, plus the railway station is located somewhat far from the city limits. You will have to go with transfers, since all large settlements are equidistant from Cesky Krumlov.

The most acceptable point of departure is Prague, but even from the capital of the republic there are no direct bus or train connections. From Prague railway stations there is a train or a bus to the city of Cesky Budejovice, and from there it is recommended to go by bus. The road will take a total of 4 hours, the main disadvantage will be waiting for transport in Prague, flights are not in great demand.

Climatic zone Cesky Krumlov is a typical temperate continental climate, little different from the general characteristic for the country. Mild, but rather cool winters are replaced by rainy off-seasons and dry, long summers. The amount of precipitation is approximately 700 mm per year, which is also a standard indicator for a given climatic zone.

The average air temperature in the shade in the warmest month of the year, July, is +23 ° С, hot short hours are possible, which can be replaced by short-term rain. In the evening, the temperature gradually drops.

In winter, there may be heavy snowfalls, and there may be very little snow, while the air temperature from January to mid-February is kept at around -9 ° С. Cooling below the average may already be considered abnormal.
