Pilsen has become famous all over the world thanks to its breweries. According to the latest data, about 170 thousand people lived in the city, but the low birth rate does not allow this figure to increase.

There is no direct communication between Russian cities and Plze, it is possible to get to the city only by internal Czech routes. The distance of one hundred kilometers between the two cities is covered in 90 minutes by train, and a little longer by bus, due to the heavy congestion of the Czech roads.

An alternative route to Pilsen can be departure from Karlovy Vary - the distance between cities is about 190 kilometers along motorways, and tourist buses overcome it a little more in less than two hours. Trains from Karlovy Vary leave for Pilsen with an interval of 1 hour and 40 minutes, but by train it is much faster. -continental type. There is always a mild change of weather and seasons, little snowy winters, warm, sometimes rainy summers. The relative air humidity is low and has an insignificant amplitude of fluctuations throughout the year.

We can talk about the arrival of summer in the city in the second half of May. From June to early August, rains are quite rare here, and the average air temperature in the shade is about +22 ° С. During the day, there can be sultry weather, which in the evening gives way to cool winds and light rain.

The coldest month of the year is January, frosts are stable, and the temperature rarely rises above -10 ° С, a sharper cooling for the city is already considered an abnormal frost.
