Belfast Town Hall in the UK, Belfast Resort
Rating: 7,5/10 ( votes)  Belfast City Hall is the main building of the city, marking its geographical center. Belfast City Hall, as it is commonly called here, was built in 1906, 18 years after the Queen granted this place the status of a city. Accordingly, the city needed a place where the governing bodies would be located, so the Town Hall became the number one construction object.
Most guides and tourist guides unanimously claim that the Town Hall is an example of the purest Victorian Baroque, but many art critics disagree, calling the building the pinnacle of English eclecticism of the early twentieth century. The building in elevation projection has only right angles; the only element of the Town Hall without outside corners is a copper dome crowning the building in the center.
Around a dozen sculptural compositions are scattered around the perimeter of the territory adjacent to the City Hall, the main of which is the statue of Queen Victoria, placed right in front of the central doors of the City Hall.
