Rating: 8,2/10 (3402 votes) Kaiser Oak – famous in Berlin oak, planted in 1879 in honor of Kaiser Frederick I and his wife Augusta of Saxony-Weimar-Eisenach, their golden wedding and the 82nd anniversary of the Kaiser. Oak belongs to the protected natural monuments. In 1883, during a protest against the anti-socialist law, it was badly damaged and in the spring it was replaced with a new oak tree. 2004 marked the 125th anniversary of the Kaiser oak, which, moreover, survived two wars. A commemorative plaque made of brass was installed in honor of the hero of the day.
