Ruins of Rauchenstein castle in Germany, resort Baden

The ruins are located near the city, not far from the Rauchenek castle. The path to the castle lies along a narrow path, along which one must be very careful when climbing in winter. The castle was built in the 12th century. Over time, this majestic building turned into ruins, but this did not discourage tourists from visiting a place filled with the spirit of antiquity. Reconstruction work is still not planned, but all measures for the safety of tourists have been observed. The observation deck of the castle offers a picturesque view of the city and the surrounding mountains. Also visible from here are the ruins of the neighboring Rauhenek castle.
