The Sederholm House is the oldest stone building in the Finnish city of Helsinki. It was built in 1757 in the historic center of the city. It is part of the architectural ensemble of the Senate Square.

Initially, the house belonged to the wealthy and very influential Swedish merchant Johan Sederholm, whose name the house bears to this day. After Sederholm, the house was owned by different owners. In 1865 the house was bought by the merchant Kiselev, who expanded the house, installed additional doors and windows, and built balustrades. After that, the Sederholm house was recognized as the most beautiful in the city.

From 1912 to 1946, the Sederholm house was empty. Later, the restoration was carried out, after which the City Court drove into the former merchant house. In 1985, the premises were occupied by a museum, opened to the public only in 1995.

Today, the Sederholm House Museum displays an extensive collection of authentic merchants' household items from the 18th century. The expositions introduce visitors to the life of this social group during its heyday. It also hosts temporary exhibitions dedicated to the development and modern life of the city of Helsinki.
