The building is located on the shores of Lake Constance. The House of Festivals was opened in 1980. The complex acquired its modern look in the last decade. Renowned Austrian architects Untertrifaller and Dietrichoma worked on its reconstruction. The Festspielhaus is home to the main stage, which often hosts opera performances, music shows, symphony concerts and theatrical performances.
