La Seu Cathedral in Spain, Valencia resort
Rating: 8,8/10 (1022 votes)  This cathedral is located in the center of old Valencia, on the Plaza de la Reina. It was erected in the period from 1252 to 1482 where a mosque was once located. From the outside, the cathedral looks like a building built in the Gothic style, but its facade is decorated in the Baroque style. In the north transept of the cathedral there are richly decorated and decorated with a rosette window, the Gothic gate, and in the south -; Romanesque gate. The length of the cathedral is 98 meters. In the 18th century, it was completely rebuilt. A large number of valuable paintings are kept here, including paintings by Palomino and Goya. The choir has seating from the 16th century. The intersection of the aisles is crowned with a grandiose octagonal dome. The main chapel is adorned with a magnificent 15th century altar. Its side panels were painted by Leonardo da Vinci's pupil Fernando de Llanos and Fernando Janes de la Almedina. Behind the main chapel is the Buen Chapel, which houses the crucifix by Alonso Cano, and the alabaster altar containing the cancer from Vincente Martyr's forearm.
