The Ludwig Forum is a center for contemporary international art, a meeting place and confrontation of various art forms. The Ludwig Museum is located in the building a former factory that was built by Josef Bachmann in the 1920s. The building was later rebuilt by architecture professor Fritz Eller. The core of the building is the action center in the middle of the hall topped with a jute roof. At present, the architectural complex includes fund and library premises, artists' workshops, a painting school, a restaurant, and a soundproofed hall.
