San Lorenzo Maggiore is a temple in Milan, built at the end of the 15th century in memory of Saint Lawrence.

In the 16th century, the dome and upper part of the building. From the original basilica, only a 12th century Romanesque bell tower and an ancient baptistery remain. In the chapel of St. Aquilin, you can see the preserved late Gothic mosaics.

Monuments to Constantine the Great and Lazarus were erected next to the temple. Also here you can see several ancient Roman columns, preserved from the term of Maximilian, dated from the 3rd century.
