Apostolic Church in Germany, Munster resort
Rating: 8,7/10 (1001 votes)  The Apostolic Church is an evangelical church located in the historic part of Munster. The temple was built in the 13th century during Monastery of Franciscans Minorites and consecrated in the name of St. Catherine of Alexandria. Initially, the church was a two-aisled Gothic hall temple with a narrow altar part. In the following centuries, the church was rebuilt several times. In the XVI – In the 17th century, a third nave appeared on the north side of the temple. In 1803, the Bishopric of Munster was secularized, the Basilica of St. Catherine was desecrated, the Franciscan monastery was closed.
