House of F. Liszt in Germany, resort of Weimar

Liszt House, located on the territory of the Ilmsky Park, is an amazing small museum dedicated to the life and work of the famous Hungarian composer who lived here in the 19th century. Franz Liszt served as Kapellmeister at the Weimar National Theater in the 1840s. In the years 1848-1861 Liszt wrote twelve symphonic poems and many piano works. The composer has staged more than 40 operas at the Weimar Theater. Nowadays, in the F. Liszt House Museum, you can observe a unique untouched environment of the 19th century.
