Vienna House of Art in Austria, Vienna spa
Rating: 8,2/10 (504 votes)  Vienna Art House was opened in 1991. Previously, the building of the museum housed the Tonet furniture factory. The artist F. Hundertwasser bought the factory and transformed it into a museum. The artist rebuilt the building and breathed something new into the architecture of Vienna. The building of the museum is decorated with multi-colored elements of metal, glass, wood, ceramics and tiles, which gives the building a unique look. Today two floors of the Vienna House of Art are occupied by an exhibition of artworks by F. Hundertwasser. At first glance, the artist's graphics displayed in the museum are geometric, multicolored and seem abstract, but each painting has its own meaning or even a whole concept. Temporary exhibitions of contemporary art are on display on the other two floors. There is a restaurant on the lower floor of the museum building, cafes and shopping areas.
