The grotto reaches 56 meters in length, and ndash; 30 meters. The height of the entrance is 1.3 meters, the vault above the water level - up to 15 meters. You can get to the grotto only from the sea by boat. In stormy weather, visiting the grotto is prohibited due to the low entrance. The rays of light penetrating into the grotto give the water an azure color, which turns the cave into a fabulous place. The beauty of the Goth was described by the German painter and poet August Kopisch, after which the cave became the most popular attraction on the island and actually the emblem of Capri.
