These caves are located in the east of the island, by the road to the port. The caves were named so because on the island it was believed that the entrance to these caves was guarded by a dragon in ancient times.

Six underground lakes can be seen in the caves. Among them, Negro, Delicias and Martel stand out. The latter is very popular for its lighting effects. In this lake, the architect Carlos Buygas built a fountain that simulates dawn using lamps and lights. The spectacle of light spreading through the hall and boats gliding across the lake really makes an unforgettable impression.

The length of the entire tourist route through the caves is 1 km 700 meters. Stalagmites and stalactites stretch along the way. Among all the stone halls in a special place are the observation deck of the Cyclops, the Well of the Vampires, the Hall of Louis Armand, the Main Hall and the Cave of Louis.
