Park Bagatelle in France, Paris resort
Rating: 8,7/10 (1412 votes)  The Bagatelle Park is part of the Bois de Boulogne and at the same time part of the Parisian Botanical Garden – complex of parks, united into an ecologically protected area. The park area was named after a small palace built during the reign of Louis XVI. The history of the palace is quite interesting, since it was built on a dispute. The king and his daughter-in-law Marie Antoinette made a bet that the king would be able to build a whole palace, albeit a small one, on an empty piece of land in 2 months. The bet was won because there were about a thousand workers on the king's side, who rebuilt the walls of the future palace day and night without a break.
