The neo-Renaissance temple was erected in the second half of the 19th century during the global development of Paris under the leadership of Prefect Georges Haussmann.
Construction began in 1861- m year and ended in 1867. a rather modest amount of 4 million francs was allocated for the construction of the temple, but this did not prevent the richly decorating both the facade of the church and its interior.
The front of the church was immediately broken a cozy square with many benches, where before the church was built there was a restaurant known throughout Paris.
The architecture of the temple emphasizes the idea of the Trinity: the facade is divided into three parts, a bell tower rises above the central part of the high tower.
The interior of the temple is also unusual, the main nave is painted with frescoes, but not ordinary ones, but imitating antique mosaics. The stained glass windows have been completely preserved since the 19th century.
The organ appeared in the church 2 years after the official completion of construction.
