Its total height is 405 meters, and at a height of 238 meters there is a restaurant and an observation deck. Beijing Television Tower is a member of the International Federation of Great Towers. Every year races are arranged on the tower – first you need to run two laps at the base, and then climb the 1484 steps. This tower was built in 1992. The project was developed at the Design Institute of the Ministry of Television, Film and Radio. The tower is located near Yuyuantan Park, in the Haidian District. The area of all floors of the tower is 60 thousand square meters.
