Rating: 7,6/10 (6654 votes)  This arch – the main architectural feature of the Passseig de Lewis Companis, which stretches from the Citadel Park to the northwest. It was built as a splendid main gate for the International Exhibition in 1888. It was designed by the architect Juseppe Vilasek. The stonework of the arch contains elements of the Moorish style. The arch is decorated with bas-reliefs depicting allegories of art, agriculture, industry and commerce. It was recently restored. More than 120 million pesetas were spent on the restoration, that is, approximately 28.5 million rubles.
