Rating: 8,0/10 (5499 votes)  The three-span triumphal arch of Septimius Severus is located in the north of the Roman Forum, on the ancient Sacred Road between Rostra and Curia. The arch was erected in 205 honor of the victory over Parthia, which was won by the emperor Septimius Sever and his sons Geta and Caracalla.
