Lake Mochouhu in China, Nanjing Resort
Rating: 8,2/10 (8756 votes)  The area of the lake is 47 hectares, and the length of its coastline is – 5 kilometers. The lake is located west of Nanjing. According to legend, during the reign of the Qi Dynasty (478-502), a beautiful and young girl Mo Chou married a man from the Lu family. Together they settled on the shore of this lake, which was later named after her. In the east of the Tulip Pavilion, you can see her statue. Shenzi Low is located by the lake – Tower of the winning chess game. It was built in 1871 and named after the chess game between General Xu Da and Emperor Taizu. The Emperor lost this game and as a reward presented the general with a lake and a garden adjacent to it.
