Ruins of the city of Korazim (Chorazin) in Israel, resort of Tiberias
Rating: 8,7/10 (7790 votes)  Once the ancient city of Korazim (or Chorazin) was a lively place, but already in the 3rd century AD it was destroyed. Its ruins are located at a distance of several kilometers from the city of Capernaum. Having visited these places, you can see the ruins of a synagogue built in the 3rd century AD, as well as a sculptural composition in the form of two lions, created of stone. The ruins of Korazim are an architectural and archaeological reserve and are included in the UNESCO World Heritage List.
