This Buddhist temple complex is located in the Jing'an area.

It was founded in 247 AD, during the Three Kingdoms era, in the kingdom of Wu. Initially, it was located next to the Suzhou River, and it was moved to its present place only in 1216, during the Southern Song dynasty. In 1880, during the Qing Dynasty, the temple underwent significant changes.

The three main temples, each with its own courtyard, were built in 1880. All of them are made   in the Southern style.

To the east of the main hall of the complex is the Guanyin Temple, in which a statue of a goddess weighing 5 tons and a height of 6.2 meters, made of camphor wood is installed. & Nbsp;
