Cuenca – it is the center of the province of the same name, one of the largest in Spain. Its territory is comparable to Montenegro and Slovenia. This ancient city was founded by the Moors in the 11th century. The old part of the city is included in the UNESCO World Heritage List.

The historic city is centered around the Gothic cathedral. It houses the Tesoro Catedralisio Museum. In the old city, you can also see the Mangana watchtower; The Science Museum, which is located in the convent;   Museum of Dioseano, which houses a large number of works of art of religious themes; the side town hall of the 18th century; the church of San Miguel in the Gothic style; and numerous casas colgadas built in the 14th century. Many of them are given over to cafes and restaurants, in one house is the Historical Museum, and in the other – Museum of Abstract Art.
