Chapel of the Holy Savior in Croatia, Dubrovnik resort
Rating: 8,9/10 (2049 votes)  The Chapel of the Holy Savior was built in the middle of the 16th century. The basis for its construction was the gratitude to the higher forces for the safety of the population during the earthquake. In 1667, there was another powerful earthquake, but it is surprising that the church remained intact and has been preserved in excellent condition to this day. The church is still functioning. The facade of the church immediately attracts attention, as it is decorated with a rose window, which is made in the Gothic style. Like many other architectural monuments located in the Old Town of Dubrovnik, the Chapel of the Holy Savior is included in the UNESCO World Heritage List.
