Lodge Square is the city's main square, considered the center of Dubrovnik's life. It is located in the northeastern part of the Old Town and is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Some of Dubrovnik's most famous public monuments and buildings are located on it.
In the center of the square is the Orlando Column (15th century), the city's defender. It was designed and built by the sculptor Antonio Raguzino. Behind the column is the Baroque facade of the Church of St. Blaus.
In addition, on the square there is a 15th century bell tower, which served as a signal tower during the hostilities, the Small Fountain of Onofrio and the central security building .
