It is located in the northeastern part of the Old Town and is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Some of Dubrovnik's most famous public monuments and buildings are located on it. In the center of the square is the Orlando Column (15th century), the city's defender. It was designed and built by the sculptor Antonio Raguzino. Behind the column is the Baroque facade of the Church of St. Blaus.
