Territorially, the park occupies 27 000 hectares, of which 24 000 hectares belong to the forestry fund. The national park is rich in water resources – streams and springs give rise to many rivers, the largest of which is the Struma. The length of the cave is 17 kilometers. Duhlat is famous for its stalactite and stalagmite formations, rivers and reservoirs.
