Nelagozeves Castle today is the seat of the aristocratic Lobkowicz family. This magnificent building with bastions and three side wings is the most unique example of the Czech Renaissance. Throughout its centuries-old history, Nelagozeves, unlike other castles, has been preserved in its original form.

The castle was built in the 16th century, and already in the 17th century, the castle was acquired by the noble family of Lobkowicz.

One of the main values of the castle is the collection of paintings and other works of art. The rich interiors of the castle display fine examples of furniture, church items, porcelain, musical instruments, glass, ceramics and precious metals. The castle has two halls dedicated to hunting and dog-baiting earlier it was the main hobby of landowners and noblemen of that time.

Today Nelagozeves is also known as the birthplace of Antonin Dvorak an outstanding Czech composer who was the son of a local butcher. In the house where the composer grew up, in which his father also kept an inn, today a museum was set up. For 10 years, the castle has hosted festivals and concerts dedicated to Antonin Dvorak every year.
