Dobris Castle is one of the most famous castles in the Czech Republic. The castle embodies an excellent example of the gallant era of Louis XV.

The construction of the castle was carried out in the second half of the 18th century by the French architect de Cotteio. Today it is called the Czech Versailles. The graceful Rococo style is conveyed in the architecture of the castle through numerous balconies, windows, arcades and other plastic elements.

Before the Second World War, the castle was owned by the aristocratic family of Mansfeldorv. In 1942, Dobris castle was occupied by the Nazis. After the end of the war, the castle was nationalized and opened as the"Writer's House".

In 1998, the castle was returned to the descendants of the former owners. The current owner of the castle today is Jerome Colloredo-Mansfeld, who arrived here from Austria.

The interior of the castle has classicism and rococo styles. The romantic setting of the castle seems to have been specially created for wedding ceremonies, which often take place in the large Hall of Mirrors.

In the east and south wing of the building there is a Library with a gallery, where you can observe portraits belonging to the family Colloredo-Mansfeld. There is also the Tapestry Hall, the Hunting Hall, the Ladies' Hall and the Italian Hall.

In addition to ceremonies in the castle, it is also possible to organize a festive banquet. There is a beautiful French garden right in front of the castle,
