Rating: 7,5/10 (100 votes)  Palazzo Nuovo is an excellent palace located on the Capitol Square. In 1734, the palace houses the exhibition halls of the Capitol museums. Among the exhibits you can see the original equestrian sculpture of Marcus Aurelius, which was transported here in 1990. The construction of the palace was started under Pope Sixtus the Fourth in 1571, and was completed only in 1654.
