Kowloon Peninsula in China, Hong Kong Resort
Rating: 7,6/10 ( votes)  The town of the same name is located in the southern part of this peninsula. It is a major tourist destination with numerous clubs, hotels and restaurants. A beautiful view of the whole of Hong Kong opens from the peninsula. The city has Kolulun Park, an area of 14 hectares. It is a classic Chinese park. The most interesting thing about it is the alley of sculptures. At the entrance to the park there is a mosque with domes and classic minarets, which was built by the British for the Muslim Indians who lived here. There is also one of the many temples of the goddess Tin Hau, which was built about 100 years ago. North of the temple is the most populous area in the world - Mongkok. There is also the Women's Market with a huge selection of inexpensive bags, jeans, jewelry and a variety of accessories. Nearby is the Bird Garden, which sells songbirds. The price for them depends on the vocal abilities. In the eastern part of the city, the Japanese built a luxurious shopping center in the shape of a ship. And in the northwestern part of the peninsula there is an ethnographic village from the Song dynasty. Here people in traditional clothes recreate the customs and traditions of medieval China.
