Rating: 8,4/10 (222 votes)  The sculpture of the boy Frantisek, located in the city of Frantiskovy Lazne, today is a symbol of the city. The sculpture was made in the 1920s in the form of a boy sitting on a ball with fish in hand. Karl Mayerl became the creator of the sculpture. Initially, the sculpture was located in a garden, next to the Esplanade spa house, but after the end of the Second World War it was moved to the source of the same name. Soon a legend was formed about the source, according to which a patient who touched the sculpture , must certainly get pregnant, since Frantisek is the most powerful source of health. The place of the touch was later clarified, and the legend became common knowledge. The original sculpture was taken to the museum as it was damaged several times. The source already has the third copy of the sculpture by Ledr and Kozak.
