Museum of the history of the city in Croatia, Porec resort
Rating: 7,6/10 (2001 votes)  The Museum of the History of Porec is located in a palace built in the 18th century in the Baroque style. The first floor of the museum is occupied by a collection of stone fragments where Roman sacred writings and a collection of ceramics found during archaeological excavations. On the second floor there is a collection of portrait paintings and household items of the Karli family from Kopar, the last generation of this family lived in Porec. Sculptures from the early Middle Ages are also on display. The museum has a rich library and an interesting selection of historical documents.
