Marafor Square in Croatia, Porec resort
Rating: 7,5/10 (100 votes)  Marafor Square is the largest and oldest city square. The remains of the Roman Forum are located here. On the square, you can see fragments of steps that were located here earlier than ancient Roman buildings. According to the ruins preserved on the square, scientists suggest that it was here that the Great Temple was located, dedicated to the god of war Mars. The inner territory of the temple contains the remains of red stone columns. A little to the west of the square are the ruins of the temple of Neptune.
