The museum is housed in a unique warehouse -"Rupe Granary", built in the 16th century. In ancient times, 15 deep wells were carved into solid rock here, which were covered with waterproof plaster from the inside. The main purpose of the wells was grain storage. This granary held about 1200 tons of grain. At present, this building houses an ethnographic museum, which has a total of about five thousand exhibits: national costumes, household items and more.
