The Dominican Monastery is located in the eastern part of Dubrovnik Old Town and is included in the UNESCO World Heritage List. Its construction lasted from the 13th to the 16th century. The monastery is one of the most ancient monuments of architecture, preserved in good condition to this day. Masters from Zadar and Dubrovnik, Italian architects took part in the construction of the temple, and the inhabitants of the city were also not indifferent. Due to the duration of the construction of the monastery, it includes several styles: Gothic, Baroque, Renaissance elements.

The main attraction of the monastery is the amazing fresco over the altar, created by Paolo Veneziano, and central crucifixion. Here you can see other works of masters of painting, for example, the painting"The Baptism of Christ" by Lovro Dobrichevich.

In the eastern wing of the monastery there is a museum, which exhibits numerous religious paintings. More significant canvases depict images of St. Mary Magdalene and St. Blah. The museum also displays interesting items made of silver, gold and other relics.
