The base of the mosque is in the shape of a square, and above it there is a large, gently sloping dome. There is also a gallery attached to the mosque under three more domes. The minaret building adjoins here from the southern part, which is distinguished by its grace and high height (42 m). Inside, the building is richly decorated, the walls are painted with images of flowers and quotes from the Koran. All the interior decoration shows a strong Turkish influence. The mosque contains ancient manuscripts and books in Arabic and Turkish, for example, a Koran written by hand around the 16th century with gilded drawings.
