The Tkhe Mieu dynastic temple is located near the Citadel.

The temple was built during the reign of Emperor Ming Mang. The temple was built in honor of ten kings from the Nguyen dynasty. The complex consists of two buildings – main and frontal – interconnected. The left and right wings of the temple are crowned with a yellow tile roof.

Previously, the temple housed seven yellow and red altars dedicated to the rulers of Vietnam. More recently, three more altars were added here for the emperors Thanh Thay, Nam Ngi and Dui Tan.

Today, objects and things that belonged to representatives of the Nguyen empire can be observed in the temple.
